Artwork Description

Always wanted to paint this scene in the neighbourhood, finally got the time on this lazy Sunday morning. The crazy bougainvillea reaches almost three storey high, the jacaranda in full blossom line up on the other side of the street, make the old railway bridge romantic. And of course the best part is the morning light dances on the flowers and casting interesting shadows on the road. Most unexpectedly, a cute red fox scurried across the road chasing a bird. It jumped and grabbed the bird. Before I can grab my mobile, it disappeared into the bush beside the bridge. I stood in awe for a few minutes, can’t believe it just happened in an urban area. How I love painting plein air :)

Artist Bio

I am a Sydney based artist.  I am crazy about flowers, I adore nature, I love to travel. Every beautiful moment in life brings inspiration. I am so grateful that I started to paint as it opens my eyes so much and I started to see so many more details and wonders in simple things.  For me, painting is a wonderful way to share those beautiful moments.  Hope you enjoy the journey with me.

I have exhibited across Sydney and won several awards in both watercolour and acrylic in the past years.
