Brett Whiteley and Wendy’s neighbor

I always like this little path beside the Indian restaurant Lavendra when I go to Wendy’s garden for a walk. Looking over the terra cotta roofs I can see the harbour bridge and the ferries hurrying to and from the circular quay. Looking down I can see a palm tree in the small garden and the pegs on the cloth line under the veranda. It is as if I could catch a glimpse of Brett Whiteley’s life when he painted the harbour just next door.

I am a Sydney based artist.  I am crazy about flowers, I adore nature, I love to travel. Every beautiful moment in life brings inspiration. I am so grateful that I started to paint as it opens my eyes so much and I started to see so many more details and wonders in simple things.  For me, painting is a wonderful way to share those beautiful moments.  Hope you enjoy the journey with me.
