Crepe Myrtle in autumn glory

I always thought Sydney doesn’t have much autumn colour. How wrong I was. The crepe myrtles along this North Sydney street turned into blazing red, yellow, orange, sienna and made a random side street into a beautiful painting. I can’t believe I used to walk here everyday and never noticed it. Such a joy to bathe in the morning sun and capture the gorgeous autumn colours before they are gone. And I especially like the expression of passerbys when they saw my painting and then turned around realizing what they missed 😂
