Foggy morning on the way to doubtful sound

Got up early for the doubtful sound trip from Queenstown. Everyone sleepy on the bus except the driver and me. We were on a winding road along the beautiful Wakatipu lake. A full moon hanging low over the snow mountains - views too beautiful to be missed. Then the sun slowly rose and light fog swept over the landscape and lingered low among the hills. The morning light turned everything into golden. Just this bus ride made the trip worthwhile:)
