Jacaranda with boats

I come back to this spot every year at the jacaranda season. Love the morning light on the purple blossoms and the boats lined along the sandstone bank. Locals went kayaking, a fisherman caught a sting ray, a man came with a dog and watched birds, so many things happening around yet so tranquil, so peaceful, I can notice the purple flowers dropped into the water. This is what I love about plein-air painting and I can probably go back to studio painting whenever the weather is perfect like today.
