McDougall Street in Jacaranda season

If you are a jacaranda fan, you most probably know McDougall Street. It’s normally so crowded with tourists in the jacaranda season and the street is packed with cars, which makes it less appealing as a painting subject. It was already over the peak of the blossoms, I jogged there early one morning and found the street very empty. The morning sun filtered through the remaining blossoms and turned them into pinkish purple. Finally I am ready to paint it :)
