Ahead of the Curve

There are a few different ways to get texture or a 3D effect to painting and so I've been playing with thin edged canvas, applying one on top of another, to make the subject figure more important. Each canvas edge is 1.9 cm, so roughly 4 cm in total. I've carried the painting around both edges.

Artist Statement
After painting as a full time artist for the past 15 years, I've decided to just leave some previous works available here as prints only. No originals. It is unfortunately no longer financially viable to try and sell original work on this site when my returns after two recent increases in commission from BT, increases in shipping, material costs etc mean my actual proceeds from a sale are quite small. Thanks to my collectors and followers these past years. I wish you all the very best.
