As Her Gaze Met Mine

Working larger than my usual canvas sizes brings some challenges and yet it's quite freeing to step away from the minute details of my normal figurative and portrait work. It's allowing me to play with colour, break up the background and really dig into the lines and pathways that present themselves. Edges painted white.

Artist Statement
After painting as a full time artist for the past 15 years, I've decided to just leave some previous works available here as prints only. No originals. It is unfortunately no longer financially viable to try and sell original work on this site when my returns after two recent increases in commission from BT, increases in shipping, material costs etc mean my actual proceeds from a sale are quite small. Thanks to my collectors and followers these past years. I wish you all the very best.
