Combing Your Way Through City Streets

It's a funny thing - I've worked over several different maps of Melbourne but each one has given me different ideas, depending on what the cartographer before me has laid out. This time I saw a shoulder and sleeve, and worked the story from there. I'm onto a larger one of Melbourne soon that looks to me like a woman jogging. Go figure. Edges turned with map where possible, otherwise painted white. Ready to hang.

Artist Statement
After painting as a full time artist for the past 15 years, I've decided to just leave some previous works available here as prints only. No originals. It is unfortunately no longer financially viable to try and sell original work on this site when my returns after two recent increases in commission from BT, increases in shipping, material costs etc mean my actual proceeds from a sale are quite small. Thanks to my collectors and followers these past years. I wish you all the very best.
