There are limitations in finding compositions that suit each particular map. NSW geographically tends to lend itself to children picking something from the water's edge, so I'm reusing one of my favourite poses. As these maps are old, they show signs of their previous use and life. Edges wrapped around canvas where possible, otherwise painted white.
