Drawing Lines in the Sand

Some of my collection of 1930s photos are just too precious to cut up for my collage work. This composition came from part of a very small 5 cm x 7 cm black and white photo. Golden sand, blue water and a day at the beach. Edges painted white. The next few I'll be posting are along the same theme, similar sizing. Watch out for human pyramids and kids doing their thing on Hills Hoists!

Artist Statement
After painting as a full time artist for the past 15 years, I've decided to cut back in order to explore other things that pique my interest. I will continue to post occasional new works here, however with the increased costs of commission, materials etc, my more affordable works unfortunately aren't financially worth listing here on Bluethumb. For similar reasons, I am no longer accepting commissions. My apologies.
