The 1960s images of black and white photos underneath my reimagined painted portion were detracting from the vibrancy of the rest of this map. I've left a graphic behind him only partly covered because subliminally it reminded me of the shape of an angel's wing, and that fit in with my new composition rather well. Edges painted white but I'm happy to do them in orange if you ask. Lightly sprayed with varnish for protection. I'm clearing out the rest of my vintage maps and once they're gone, I'm not doing more in this theme. Follow me here if you're interested in new work. Thanks for looking.

Artist Statement
After 15 years of being in the business of a full time artist, I've decided to just paint for pleasure. I sincerely thank all of my customers, old and new, but before I put away the paints, I still have a number of quality vintage maps, postcards etc to reuse which I'll add here. However once they've been used up, I won't be sourcing more. There are still some great ideas brewing, waiting to be completed though!
