Golden Fleece

Continuing with my very popular series of reused vintage maps. I love looking for how to incorporate existing coastlines into the composition, all maps of even the same area being quite different. The Golden Fleece road map is collectable in itself, but instead of it sitting in someone's garage, it's having a second life on your wall. Edges have the map turned onto it and painted yellow as needed. Sprayed lightly with varnish for protection. Ready to hang or be sent to the framers if you choose to have it under glass for sun protection.

Artist Statement
After painting as a full time artist for the past 15 years, I've decided to just leave some previous works available here as prints only. No originals. It is unfortunately no longer financially viable to try and sell original work on this site when my returns after two recent increases in commission from BT, increases in shipping, material costs etc mean my actual proceeds from a sale are quite small. Thanks to my collectors and followers these past years. I wish you all the very best.
