It's All About the Hat, Not the Horse

This one covers decades of Australian horse racing. There's a 1955 Melbourne Cup form, a 1970s South Australian trotting form in her hat, a rescued 1990s Hawkesbury racing photo and some vintage black and white horse photos. I've painted over the sky on the top photo. Paper this old can be expected to show signs of its previous life. Painted edges and ready to hang or can be sent to the framers to be put under glass for protection.

Artist Statement
After painting as a full time artist for the past 15 years, I've decided to cut back in order to explore other things that pique my interest. I will continue to post occasional new works here, however with the increased costs of commission, materials etc, my more affordable works unfortunately aren't financially worth listing here on Bluethumb. For similar reasons, I am no longer accepting commissions. My apologies.
