Artwork Description

One of my last remaining vintage maps to reuse. Hadn't had a Launceston one before and was pleased it was large enough to get two artworks from it. Edges wrapped with map where possible, otherwise painted. As always, vintage maps were never meant to be painted on. They've had a previous life and I've rescued what I could.

Artist Statement
After painting as a full time artist for the past 15 years, I've decided to just leave some previous works available here as prints only. No originals. It is unfortunately no longer financially viable to try and sell original work on this site when my returns after two recent increases in commission from BT, increases in shipping, material costs etc mean my actual proceeds from a sale are quite small. Thanks to my collectors and followers these past years. I wish you all the very best.
