I like retelling old photos in my own way, in colour. Among my collection of 1930s to 60s black and white photos was a very small 5 cm one where part of the photo had a young girl stretched out, sleeping in the sun trying to ignore her little sister. I decided to change the story a fair bit. She looked uncomfortable in her shoes, so I've removed them and put them alongside and of course she needed to have an open book tucked in as well to add to the story. Sort of how Alice in Wonderland all began, right? Edges painted white.
