Part of an ongoing abstract series exploring restraint and gesture. Layers of acrylic, charcoal and ink build up across the panel, with sweeps of orange breaking through a ground of black, grey and white. The small scale keeps the mark-making direct and immediate.
Ready to hang. Sold unframed; an external frame can be added through Bluethumb. Pairs well with other small works from this series, and can be grouped together to fill a larger wall space.

Based in Brisbane, I am a painter working in oil, acrylic, and mixed media on canvas. After a two-year hiatus between 2023 and 2025, I returned full-time to the studio with a shift from representational work to abstraction — paint as its own subject, where surface and gesture carry what image once conveyed.
My work has been exhibited across Australia since 2011, with pieces held in private collections locally and throughout the US and Europe.
