Alpha 21

Alpha 21 is a mixed media work on panel, 30×40cm, part of the ongoing Alpha series. Built up in layers of acrylic, charcoal, and oil pastel, with warm ochre and burnt orange tones offset by deep charcoal-blue verticals. Fine pencil and pastel line work sits over the softened, worked-back surface.

Based in Brisbane, I am a painter working in oil, acrylic, and mixed media on canvas. After a two-year hiatus between 2023 and 2025, I returned full-time to the studio with a shift from representational work to abstraction — paint as its own subject, where surface and gesture carry what image once conveyed.
My work has been exhibited across Australia since 2011, with pieces held in private collections locally and throughout the US and Europe.
