I begin with raw, innocent materials and transform them into exciting art pieces that please the eye, spark curiosity, and intrigue the mind.
I am attracted to Japanese art's simplicity, in which imperfection, transience, and incompleteness become authentic expressions of life itself.
I find inspiration in the subtropical environment I'm lucky to live in. The vibrant, colourful life around me always sparks new ideas and motivates me.
I like my work to be entertaining, curious, and comical. Sculpture offers a tactile experience—you can pick it up, feel its weight, and explore its form in space. This physical interaction sets sculpture apart from painting, confined to two dimensions.
The world is already complex and overwhelming, and I prefer not to add to that. My collectors appreciate the childlike simplicity in my work—it brings smiles rather than deep contemplation.
