Artwork Description

Kinetic is a set of 2 paintings from my Mid-Century series conveying the timeless quality of simplicity in form and colour to calm the mind and senses. Reminiscent of the screen printing textures of yesteryear, Kinetic captures the essence of Mid-Century's organic sculptural forms and clean lines.

Kinetic is a mid century term referring to art that contains movement, either perceivable by the viewer or art that depends on motion for its effect.

This set of 2 paintings (each 101cm square) if hung with a 10cm gap, measures around 2.1m metres in length. The image wraps around the 3.8cm sides of the paintings so they are ready to hang.

The first image shows a framing suggestion. Bluethumb can provide a quote for a floating frame.

Please note these images are taken before lacquering to reduce reflection in the photos. They will be finished in 2 layers of satin lacquer.
