Artwork Description

New Day is a new original painting from Stephanie's Prana series.

When I feel I’ve lost the ground beneath my feet I’m drawn to simplicity in every sense, including in my art practice. I turn inward and find solace in the silence of my mind and the consistency of my breath. These paintings are of this process, not separate from, not born out of, or from a desire to convey. They are simply this, turning inward and painting. I hope you can feel the gentle, raw and subtle energy in these small works. I hope they are a reminder that our wellbeing rests in our ability to connect with our own self.

New Day is painted on a flat piece of canvas attached lightly to a backing board and comes framed in a white frame with white matting as per images. The visible area of the artwork is 22cm x 22cm. If you would like an oak look frame please advise via message, after purchase.

The matting is signed in pencil on the front and the painting is signed on the back of the canvas.

The detail and texture of the painting contrasts beautifully against the clean white matting which has been spray lacquered for protection. If you would like to protect the matting further however it can be covered with the clear perspex that's also included.

All artwork has 2 layers of satin lacquer for protection and longevity.
