Saige is a new painting from Stephanie's Little Gem series and can be hung vertically or horizontally. This painting is created on canvas affixed to a 2.5cm solid plywood base and comes framed in a floating frame (as per images) so she's ready to hang.

The Little Gem series conveys a sense of freedom, spontaneity and depth using a combination of acrylic layering, brushwork and oil pastels.

Saige is a combination of blue greys, teal and green on an off white background.

All paintings are finished in 2 coats of satin lacquer for protection and longevity.

Stephanie grew up in the Country areas of the New South Wales Central Coast and moved to the Gold Coast in 1997 to be closer to her family. Daughter of political cartoonist Larry Pickering and one of eleven children, she enjoyed a colourful and interesting childhood. With a background in graphic design she was a partner in 'Studio Otto Illustration and Design' for 12 years before deciding to devote her time fully to painting in 2007. Solo Exhibition venues include Gold Coast 'Home of the Arts', Bundall, Doggett Street Studio, and Newstead Brisbane.
