Summer Edge - Huge, very large Diptych. Birds, nature, colourful.

Summer Edge 1 large original painting on 2 separate canvases, each 2175mm wide x 1150mm high, which is a total of 2.2m x 2.3m. The sides are 33mm painted edges, so this painting is ready to hang.

Summer Edge is inspired by the connectedness of nature, the intertwining relationship of fauna and flora and our own innate appreciation of it's beauty and wonder.

Stephanie grew up in the Country areas of the New South Wales Central Coast and moved to the Gold Coast in 1997 to be closer to her family. Daughter of political cartoonist Larry Pickering and one of eleven children, she enjoyed a colourful and interesting childhood. With a background in graphic design she was a partner in 'Studio Otto Illustration and Design' for 12 years before deciding to devote her time fully to painting in 2007. Solo Exhibition venues include Gold Coast 'Home of the Arts', Bundall, Doggett Street Studio, and Newstead Brisbane.
