Tropical is a large 1.82m x 61cm, original painting from my new 2019 series 'Momentum'. This series explores the element of contrast, primarily between spontaneous and deliberate brush techniques as well as contrast in relation to tone and space. This series is an extension of my 'Completeness of Imperfection' series with the addition of colour.
Tropical has an earthy textured base. The colours are a range of blues and green with a touch of lime. The painting extends around the sides which are 3.8cm so it's ready to hang.
