Artwork Description

This work is from a series I have been making based on the bushfires of 2020. The aim here was to reference German expressionists and paint quickly to avoid overthinking things.

Graduated SA School of Art in 1978
Exhibited throughout Australia and was Artist In Residence twice at The Australian Tapestry Workshop.

Various group exhibitions at Powell Street Galleries, Contemporary Art Society in SA and The South Australian National Gallery and as a member of Round-Space collective at the Roper Street Gallery Adelaide.

I'm being featured in a retrospective exhibition with Artbank: Weaving Together - Tapestries from the Artbank Collection (2 October - 17 November, 2023) at Artbank Melbourne.
