Revisiting an abstract style I painted in over a decade ago. Feeling the need to explore it a bit more. I found myself needing to distill the scene to the basic emotion it was evoking without "things" getting in the way. A sister painting, "Rainy Day in the Pines", here in my shop, pairs well with this as a diptych.
This is professional grade acrylic on a stretched canvas measuring 60" high by 48" wide. The edges are painted as shown in the supporting photos. It's wired and ready to hang.
