Living and working in close proximity to this breathtaking coastline, I am constantly reminded of nature's ability to evoke deep emotions and provoke thoughtful reflection. My artistic journey is deeply intertwined with my experiences of exploring the hidden coves, walking the windswept trails, and witnessing the seasonal shifts that transform the landscape.

Steve Myers is a Tasmania-based artist who mainly works in oils. A principal theme in Steve's work is the ocean where he finds his escapism and inspiration. Steve started surfing at the young age of four and he has always been drawn to the sea, its energy, and its vastness which provoke emotion that he tries to capture in his art. Steve mostly paints Tasmanian seascapes, particularly the wild west coast and its rugged beauty and remoteness.
