A household flower that is always bursting into colour and whether you grow it or your families did, this is a familiar part of any Australian household. Children play with the petals, pick them for Mum and they can be always called upon to add a little colour in a vase.

Red geraniums say happy and the pinks are so delicate and come in such a variety of shades.

I have depicted this tumble of geraniums in a loose impressionist style reminiscent of Monet’s garden art and there are some loose drips and splashes to add to the character of the piece. It would look lovely framed in natural oak but the art has been continued around the sides of this slim line canvas. It would work beautifully in a bedroom, entrance way or lounge living area. It’s a happy piece to capture your heart.
