I use recycled magazines, type, maps, photos, patterns and more to create one-of-a-kind collages. By ripping and cutting up these items I am able to construct unique works of art that appear semi-realistic from a distance, yet abstract up close. I love people to lose themselves in my artwork, scanning the fine detail to discover the text and images that intertwine to make these unique 'paintings'.
If you are a lover of the Adelaide Fringe and would like a totally unique, really cool piece of art to display in your home, then look no further.
My artwork, which has been CREATED ENTIRELY OUT OF OLD FRINGE PROGRAMS is a metaphor for what āArts Unlimitedā means to me. The Ringmaster bursting out of the Adelaide Fringe Soup Can holding tickets and a microphone to announce that the Fringe has arrived. The can is jam packing with symbols and icons all bursting free and which are a representation of these many artistic events and culinary delights available at the Fringe.
This piece was also a finalist in the Fringe Poster Competition this year.
IMPORTANT - The image wraps around the edge of the board, so there is no need for a frame.
Gloss Varnished.
