Contemplation - Female Portrait

In this portrait, I use ink on paper to depict a woman. I created the shape of her face with bold ink splatters, which add a lively and energetic feel. Then, I use a fine pen to draw in the details of her features, like her cheeks, eyebrows, and lips. This combination of techniques brings out her expression and personality.
The contrast between the ink splatters and the precise pen work gives the portrait a unique balance of spontaneity and attention to detail. I'm proud that I've blended these different methods to create a captivating artwork that allows you to explore the woman's beauty and character.

Originally from Liverpool in the UK, Sue emigrated to Australia in 2006 and made her home in Western Australia with her husband and two children.
