Original acrylic painting, portrait format of a wet night in the city.
The inspiration came from a visit to Belfast where we were fortunate in experiencing only one or two wet evenings over two weeks in Northern Ireland. The rain and the night lights makes the reflections on wet ground exciting. I particularly love the abstract patterns that distort shapes through the car windscreen (not depicted here).
