This is an Australian landscape inspired by a photograph that I took of a scene on the NSW coastline, not far from the city of Sydney.
I painted it from ‘a birds eye’ view as if I was up on a high rock looking down at the beach scene with the rolling waves and rocky shoreline. The pale golden skies above the ocean create the mood of this tranquil scene.
