Much of my recent work expresses the concern I have for the struggle other species must experience competing against relentless human development. Actually, some of our own have difficulty with this too. I love frogs, and when these ones appeared in the painting, I had them climbing up a wall of buildings, whilst being eyed by the fly and the fish. Maybe it's not too cheery, but since when does art have to be ? It's pretty enough to sit on a wall.
