This is a mini version of the bigger still life painting called "Slightly Surreal". Im just into small paintings right now, enjoying the process of sitting at my desk and working with the winter sun streaming into my studio. Quirky it is. The bowls and plates were made by me and the book is one of my sketch books open on the table. The Scottish bowl is one of my faves from my homeland, made by my friends at ANTA. The tablecloth was my mother's. She bought it in the Portobello Road markets way back in the 70's.

It's small, but it packs a punch. It requires a frame (unless you just want to prop it up somewhere), but not the frames on this site which are made for works on canvas or paper. Don't select the framing option.
