Artwork Description

This thunderstorm is an exploration of love, memory, and transformation — a portrait of someone who exists between the tangible and the ephemeral. The rain in this work is not merely weather, but emotion incarnate: a metaphor for the beauty and fragility of connection, for how we dissolve and reshape ourselves within love.

In creating this piece, I wanted to capture that fleeting balance between intimacy and distance, the way love can flood, cleanse, and erode all at once. This artwork asks the viewer to linger in that in-between space — where emotion becomes weather, and where the self dissolves into something greater, infinite, and momentary.

The sides of the artwork is painted as well, titled and signed at the front and back of the canvas. Comes with a signed certificate of authenticity and is ready to hang.

Artist Bio

Hi, am Sushree, a passionate intuitive artist, based in Sydney Australia, who discovered her passion for painting later in life and through hard work and self-discovery been exploring alot. I'm represented by the Northern Beaches Gallery, in Sydney.

In the beginning I started working with acrylic pouring art and found the unpredictability and freedom the fluid mediums can give. It is a captivating art form that mesmerizes both the artist and the viewer alike. With it's spontaneous nature, fluid art creates a sense of chaos and freedom on the canvas, resulting in stunning and unique one of a kind compositions.

Later I branched out to atmospheric artworks. As an artist, I am drawn to the power and complexity of emotions. In my work, I strive to convey a sense of mood and atmosphere through my use of color. For me, a moody palette represents the depth and complexity of human emotion. These colors can convey a range of feelings, from melancholy and introspection to passion and intensity.

Painting storms is not just a portrayal of atmospheric phenomena for me, it's more like an exploration of resilience, a celebration of the sublime forces that shape our World. In all of my storm paintings, I aim to evoke the raw power, the majestic fury, and the inherent beauty found within the heart of a storm.

Each artwork created by me reflects my innermost thoughts and feelings, as for me art is an artist expression and raw emotions and I strive to portray it, onto the canvas, as each artwork evokes some emotions or connections to its viewers.
