The ground cover Australian native Grevillea grows in several front gardens where I walk my dogs. They are appear delicate and intricate but endure the harsh Australian weather and give a colourful show across the gardens where they have been planted.

After completing a Diploma in Visual Arts, Sylvia has been actively exhibiting her work in Melbourne and its suburbs. She has an interest in depicting iconic scenes of Melbourne, its flora and in particular people going about their everyday life. Using oil, watercolour, ink and lino cut prints she enjoys depicting the images as she sees them in real life.

While Anna grew up in a family of artists, she has always appreciated the beauty of complexity of art. Throughout her life, she has always been engaged in the artistic process with different types of projects and has learnt many different and eclectic skills from crocheting, to french polishing. There has always been a strong desire to experiment with different mediums and effects. This passion to create and extend her artistry has further progressed into paintings.
