Artwork Description

While on a boat on the Mekong this amazing scene emerged of men carrying huge bags of rice down a steep slope to load onto boats on the river. The slope was steep, rocky with burning hot sand. The men were bare footed or wearing flimsy thongs. The effort it took is shown on their facial expressions.
