Everything that can be seen can be broken down to shapes and colours. My paintings and drawings break down the visual and simplify it to shapes then fragmenting and merging them to produce an abstract image. Influenced by the 'automatic drawings from the early 20th century I try not to think about what my pen is doing to create a unique image.

Artwork Description
Artist Bio
I completed my Bachelor of Fine Arts at RMIT with Honours in 2017 after a long and uneventful career in administration. As an intensely prolific drawer, I explore themes of fragmentation and experiment with shapes and forms and the way they intertwine with each other.
Influenced by the haphazard automatic drawings from the early 20th century, I explore what can be done with drawing and painting while skipping over the line between the representational and the abstract.
