See through the Eyes of an Eagle

This is an oil painting on canvas using only high quality artist's paints. It is painted around the sides to give a more finished effect. It is also coated with a gloss varnish to bring out the colours and protect the painting. It is ready to hang with wire on the back and comes unframed.

I have a real love of eagles. They are fascinating creatures. Their eyesight is 4 to 8 times stronger than humans. It is said they can spot a rabbit at 3.2 kilometres away. if we could see like eagles, we would be able to see an ant crawling on the ground from the roof of a 10 story building!

Tania Weekes is a Newcastle artist. Originally from Sydney, she has had a passion for art all her life and has been a practicing artist for over 20 years.
She studied the Diploma in Fine arts at Seaforth Tafe in Sydney and Diploma in Graphic Design online through CATCA (Billy Blue Design School)
Tania has exhibited throughout NSW and teaches art in Newcastle. She also paints murals locally for private homes and businesses.
Her main influences are abstract expressionism and symbolism. Her work is God inspired, sometimes prophetic and usually, totally unplanned.
Each painting revealing glimpses of a story that lures the viewer to look deeper into their own story.
Her aim is to uncover places in the psyche that connect with her work on a spiritual level.
Her love of colour shows in the vibrancy of her canvases. Her preferred medium is oils.
