There are times when you need to get away from it all. Sometimes it's because you're stressed out and need to get away from people, sometimes it's because you just want to be in nature and connect with yourself. In this painting I tried to capture the feeling of being alone in the bush, surrounded by nature. I wanted it to feel like a peaceful walkabout: serene, quiet, and open.
