In this piece, I have captured the quiet anticipation just before sunrise at Falls Creek. A soft fluorescent glow builds across the horizon, expressed through gradients of spray-painted pinks, peaches, and violets. Hand-stitched lines trace the rolling forms of the landscape, adding texture and depth.
The contrast between the immediacy of spray paint and the slowness of embroidery evokes a meditative stillness — a moment suspended in time, waiting for the sun to rise.
