The Invisible Witness.
"An amazing dream surrounds me
I am walking along releasing birds
Everything that I touch is within me
And I have lost all limitations"
The frieze opens at dawn and closes at dusk. The undulating forms of rocks, trees and sandstone caverns with glimpses of sky and valley, is subtly infused with archetypes of transcendence. Birds, animals and angels occupy a layered mosaic of texture, colour and form where the ‘primal’ landscape is at once body and consciousness.
Painted on site over a period of five days at a remote location on the escarpment at Bundanoon, with several reworking’s this captivating frieze, along with others, is currently being displayed at the Moss Vale Civic Centre, Southern Highlands, NSW until February 29 2018 when it will become available for posting or collection.
