A new print--2017-- the Native Pine series of prints have four versions all represented here as an illustration of the versatility of this technique of woodblock printmaking. Subtle colour differences can make a print look very different from the previous and adding a feature not shown before increases the variations available.

I am a printmaker specialising in multi coloured woodblock prints. I operate from Laura in South Australia and I am inspired by the landscape and seascape of the Mid North and Flinders ranges as well as Apollo bay in Victoria. My prints are all original work of very limited editions. I create a series of blocks mostly both sides of two woodblocks, that make up the differnt parts of the final print. They are then inked and printed colour by colour until the final print is complete. This technique enables me to make a number of versions of the same print with colour variations. I often create different sky and clouds ,sunsets and variations in the colours of the sky. I have been printing this way about for about eight years and find myself still passionately involved in the art of printmaking. For the art collector original prints are an affordable way to creat an art collection.
