Time for Tea

A cottage style tablecloth with blue tea cups and teapot with flowers.....imagine the conversations over this setting. Would look great in country kitchen, Hamptons house or girls bedroom. This painting is one of my favourites it reminds me of times spent with my grandmother.

Welcome..I have been painting on and off since 1993 but due to family and work commitments painting was "when I had the time." Finally in 2000 I began on educating myself in colour and design and also managed an advanced diploma in visual art. I enjoy the challenge of representational work using oils but equally like to let loose with abstraction, so you will see within my work both categories. I continually endeavour to develop my art painting skills along with creative abstractions. I am a homebody so many of my still life paintings will include items from my home along with flowers and fruit from my garden. My landscapes include inspiration and photography from holidays and lake Macquarie and the beaches of Newcastle. The abstract paintings can come from any type of inspiration that passes my way..... I absolutelylove painting and hope that you will enjoy my work as well.
