Australian heritage original architectural art from Tracey Knowland, who is currently a finalist in the Art Piece 30 x 30 national art prize.

Subject: Iconic Harvest Deli, Newrybar, Byron Bay hinterland

Tracey is represented in the USA by Atkinson Collection Gallery, Chicago and was a grant recipient Artist in Residence at Chateau Orquevaux, France in 2017, where one of her paintings was acquired for the Chateau’s collection and she was commissioned to paint the historic Castel d’Orquevaux.

Artist Bio

🌿Born Sydney, Australia, Tracey Knowland is an autodidact artist working between a farm-based studio in the Byron Bay hinterland and a coastal property bordering the UNESCO World Heritage coastline at Iluka. With a background in horticulture, Tracey is acutely aware of the fragile balance and beauty of the natural world. Working in photography or oil or acrylic paint on canvas or linen, Tracey draws influence from the foliage, light, patterns and textures of nature. Trace was selected as artist in residence (grant recipient) Chateau Orquevaux, Champage, France, 2017, where one of her paintings was acquired for the Chateau's private collection and she was commissioned to paint historic landmark Le Castel d'Orquevaux. In August 2017 Trace received an Award of Special Merit for two of her works from over 700 entries in the Time, Space, Light Gallery (Fine Art America) Botanical Competition. In December, 2017 Trace was a finalist in the Australian national 30 x30 Art Piece Art Prize. Trace is represented in the USA by Atkinson Collection Gallery, Chicago, USA. Traceys print designs for Designer Boys are popular with interior design trade in Australia and beyond.
