This painting is a reflection of the shame I feel on behalf of past, present and future generations and their exploitation of the planet which sustains us. The desire to maintain our material lifestyles has had huge consequences as we enter the Pyrocene - the age of Fire.
It is obvious that we β modern society β have become increasingly detached from nature. In order to secure a place for future generations (all species alike) it is vital that we regain greater awareness of our planet and thus take better responsibility of it. The oceans, rivers, forests, humanity has left its mark everywhere.
