Inspired by her loving parents, Uma discovered her passion for art at the age of fifteen. As a self-taught artist, years of patience, experimentation, and dedication have deepened her appreciation for her craft. She explores a variety of subjects in her work, with light serving as a central focus, adding a distinctive touch to her paintings.

Uma’s artwork has found homes in collections worldwide and has earned her numerous awards and accolades, bringing her artistic dreams to life. A defining moment in her career came in 2015 when she was invited to appear on the renowned TV program Colour In Your Life, hosted by the late Graeme Stevenson, a brilliant artist and the show’s founder.

Beyond professional achievements, art has been a source of healing and solace for Uma, especially after the loss of her beloved mother. For her, painting is more than just a passion—it is an essential part of her life, one for which she remains profoundly grateful.
