Australian Beaches are so beautiful, this was created after a family trip to Blueys Beach New South Wales. I loved the deep blue in contrast to the habitat surrounding the sand. So beautiful and peaceful.Having grown up in Emerald, the Dandenong Rangers, the trees and flowers will forever be my inspiration. Whenever I pick up a brush, the smells, colours, the clean air come back to me and I start painting intuitively the shapes, colours and patterns from my childhood, beautiful memories. In this piece you can see the the leaves falling in the forest with banksia floating around, so very pretty. This piece deserves a special place in your home.I take my inspiration from the Australian landscape. Our beautiful sage greens, terracotta, yellow tones that can be found in our foliage and wild flowers. It’s so very therapeutic for me to paint shapes and patterns in this layered style., and this is present in the paintings I have created. All are unique and beautiful. All of the paintings from my Botanical series can be paired together, they will bring colour and beauty in any home or office space. My style is intuitive, I paint in the colours that I choose on the day, there is no plan I simply start painting on the canvas. This piece has a Retro feel to it.
