This painting is a part of my intuitive painting series. Here I paint with the colours that I feel like using at the time, mixing colours using my brushes, edges of plastic lids, fingers, whatever comes to hand. I love this style of painting, then I have a lovely background, I outline a silhouette of some leaves in a pot, paint the negative space. This gives a neutral outline to reveal the gorgeous colours and toning underneath. As if you a looking through a window .
