Artwork Description

Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

Having grown up in Emerald, the Dandenong Rangers, the trees and flowers will forever be my inspiration. Whenever I pick up a brush, the smells, colours, the clean air come back to me and I start painting intuitively the shapes, colours and patterns from my childhood, beautiful memories. In this piece you can see the the leaves falling in the forest with banksia floating around, so very pretty. This piece deserves a special place in your home

This painting is personal to me, it has been inspired by my sister. Here are a few things we love, books cheese and swapping books. This Sally Hepworth book โ€˜ The Good Sisterโ€™ was one she bought for me for my birthday, great author, I loved it. We love our Spritz drinks in summer and love to chat, as sisters do๐Ÿ˜Š we enjoy cooking and love Nagis cook book always swapping recipes.Long summers in our family in the afternoon when visitors came over, we would bring out an aperativo, olives, nuts and enjoy each others company. This is our Italian hospitality. This piece reminds me of summer , it feels fresh and bright, it would look beautiful in your kitchen.
This is how the Italians have their coffee when visitors come over. The homemade biscuits come out and a liquor, thatโ€™s our dolce vita, enjoying life through our food. These are my memories growing up in our family. Italian hospitality to anyone that enters our home, lots of beautiful memories.Long summers in our family in the afternoon when visitors came over, we would bring out an aperativo, olives, nuts and enjoy each others company.
